On the first question, I am unable to source at this point in time who is winning the majority of the e-bus tenders. I believe the tender allocation for the PM e-Bus Sewa is not yet finalized. However, this article in Fortune Inc highlights the major players in the e-bus segment in India. PMI Electro Mobility + Olectra are the top players based on the FY23 #s (both have Chinese associations)
On the second question, the reason for not achieving the 1K bus target was due to battery testing norms which dragged out longer than anticipated during which the Company was unable to sell any e-buses. The management did not give a very detailed answer on this though.
Nice post. Do you have study on who is winning in e-bus tenders ? and Any statement from Olectra why they could archive planed 1000 bus sale in FY23?
