Yes I have thought about this. And it's not just the screen but the accessories that pack the punch. Recently once when my bluetooth headset got damaged I now no longer have a way to watch a movie or series. When I boarded a train for work. I noticed for the first time how many people are actually hooked to the phone. It's all glowing screen and tilted head

Yes Sid you're of course correct... Awareness is the key but awareness of the "effect" of has on you is more important than the "cause".

I belong to an earlier Gen (X) that grew up in the early years without the Net. I've become aware of this problem with myself some time ago, and I hate what it does messing the mind, e.g.creating an altered sense of reality. It affected my interpersonal interaction.

So I stopped using my phone or any device after ten odd minutes. (It helps that your minds can't concentrate much as you grow older 😁). Much better now. I doubt though, that everybody will have the same clarity.

I agree, awareness of your thoughts leads you to understand both (cause and effect) and as you become more aware — you get more in control of the cause to influence the effect.

Absolutely, uncontrolled use of social media is messing with a lot of people’s mind and I am really happy that you’ve got it under control 💪
